Dafnis Prieto is definitely one of my biggest influences on the drums. I love this tune because of its melody and rhythmic concept so I got a band together, transcribed the tune, and this is what we got! Left hand awareness is there, your accents are fresh. Triplet interpretation isn't too triplet-ey - just right. Snare sound has brightness, depth, darkness and is on the top. Clear Kupasalo influence with a touch of Stowe, Hakes. Keep innovating.
Thanks for the feedback. Kupasalo is definitely one of my biggest artistic influences, always pushing the envelope.... As a matter of fact, I was actually using the Stowe signature brushes here!
